"It looks like Everything shutdown gracefully." What the ... ?? - I enter a filename to search for. - I select the entire search word and clear it with the Backspace key. - Everything crashes. Re: Everything crashes on 2nd search
Yes, multiple searches can be run w/ no results returned.therube wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 6:46 pm
C:\TEST_EV\Everything should open.Code: Select all
everything -instance NODB -read-only
No results will display.
Can you at that point type in multiple search queries (& even though no results will show up) without Everything quitting?

Re: Everything crashes on 2nd search
Thanks for the reply. I followed your instructions, same issue persisted. Next, I uninstalled Everything, restarted the computer, installed Everything. Same issue exists: - Start Everything, type in something to search for. - When Everything (finally) finishes indexing/sorting, search results are di...

CPU usage on startup
Everything v 1.4.1.895 x64 on Win 10 Pro x64
When Everything starts up (either with system startup or after), the CPU quickly runs to >90% for Everything.
Is there a way to control Everything's resource usage on startup?
It renders the computer less than functional for several minutes....
