That is what it does for me with the Windows Media Player Rich Preview Handler.
It just doesn't auto-play so I have to press the play button in the preview.

I found it's the best to let Windows indexing the larger part of files and query it from Everything.

Total Commander and Everything Toolbar use the SDK
and with both I can use my defined Everything macros.

What a strange idea to use such an AHK script at logon to even start Explorer.
Any stuff in such a script can be made with normal Windows functions.
Explorer is the default Windows shell which starts automatically on every logon.

Your example pdf file can't be indexed as it contains no searchable text at all. Try to select some text from it in your PDF tool and you will see. If I run my PDF-XChange OCR tool on it it makes it fully searchable and can be indexed with Everything. Also its size shrinks this way from 9.1 MB to 1....

Use a csv export.
Excel has no problems to handle such files.
Using 2 text file exports any diff tool will show you the culprint.
Just ensure that both files are sorted by the same criteria.

I had MediaPreview from Babelsoft installed
before I switched to K-Lite Codec Pack including Icaros.

Downloaded compiled and basic checks made with
Total Commander, XYplorer, Explorer
using Open dialogs in Akelpad and WinRAR.

The source.zip is still the old one even with another browser.
The dir name in the source code says 1.0.8 but the ahk file is old, also in the tar.gz file.

I downloaded the master zip file which is the new one and compiled it.

Tested now also with Explorer
